KURT SCHRADER, DVM
Dr. Schrader is a graduate of Cornell University and earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois. He has practiced veterinary medicine since 1977.
Dr. Schrader is active in his community and as a County Planning Commissioner from 1981 - 1996; State Representative from 1997 - 2005; and is currently an Oregon State Senator. In 2003, he served as President of the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Schrader has four grown children and lives with his wife, Martha, on a farm in Canby.
TERI LEICHNER, DVM
Dr. Leichner is a 1997 graduate of Kansas State University. She interned for 1 year at Colorado State University, and did a 3 year Internal Medicine residency and Master's in Pulmonary Immunology at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Leichner has practiced for 8 years and is a member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine specializing in large animals.
Dr. Leichner's family includes her husband, Eric, and daughter, Avery, in addition to 2 Bull Mastiffs. She especially enjoys spending time with her nephews, along with trail riding or any other outdoor activity.
LARRY SAMS, DVM
Dr. Sams earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University in 1978. He owned a veterinary practice in the Hollywood district of Portland for 23 years.
We are pleased to have him working part time here at Clackamas County Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Sams has been married for 38 years and has 2 children, and 3 grand-children.
Lacy Redmond, DVM (Photo Coming Soon)
Dr. Redmond earned her doctorate in 2003 at the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Idaho, Dr. Redmond moved to the Portland area 4 years ago after graduating from WSU. Her veterinary interests include small animal dentistry and soft tissue surgery. She shares her home with 2 cats "Dublin & Brisbane" and her dog "Fiona".
